Hi! My name is Jodie Cooper and I am a mixed-media textile artist based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. I recently finished by degree in Fine and Applied Arts after studying Applied arts at college and completing a foundation diploma. My specialist area is free-motion embroidery, however I love to experiment with different mediums and just being creative wherever I can!

I started Sebby Studios in my last year of university as a way to get my art out there and begin my career. Unlike many students, I took a year break in the middle of my degree to have my little boy. It was tough but I went back and finished the course to show my little boy that just because something is challenging, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it. He is my biggest inspiration and motivator, so it made sense for me to name my little business after him- here’s to you, Sebby!

Everything I create and design is done in my little studio in my home in Sheffield, and my work is constantly evolving and changing depending on what I take inspiration from at the time.
